I have agreed to help anchor the ZA runs similar to what was done for Kara. I am going to see what sig can do as its clear we have the toons to do 2 weekly ZA's, full clears, 2 chests, although I am waiting to see if CI will be willing to run it regularly with us. I am looking for people to respond to me (not the list) with who is interested in running a regular ZA and forming a team that will regularly take it down. In particular, I am looking for people to commit to it weekly. We will hopefully get > 10 toons so that we can reliably field 10 and it will follow signup order with group composition being considered among those ready to go.
Let me be clear: I am not speaking on behalf of sigkill. Furthermoe, ZA is not Kara, Mag, or Gruul. Its a significantly harder raid and we do not have the toons able to carry anyone into it. Nor am I willing to encourage the attitude of "well as long as we down him, its all good" or "well I will just attain the minimum standard and gear up within the raid". ZA, especially timed chests runs, for a guild at our level of progression is an exciting adrenaline filled adventure. One that requires you to bring your best, and ability to laugh and have fun when things go horridly wrong.
Therefore I am going to be looking for the following things in raiders:
* Willingness to accept constructive criticism. * Willingness to do whats best for the raid * Willingness to study their class and bring out their best in it. * Ability to read www.wowwiki.com or www.bosskillers.com to actually learn fights so we don't need to explain every single detail. (We will explain everything anyway but you should at least know the fights. Trust me. There is lots to learn. I read every fight multiple time and when Piiko led me through it I was STILL confused) * Knowledge and installation of the addons that will make raids much easier. * Knowledge of your class and raid etiquette and raid experience and a properly geared toon (enforced by requiring you to be Violet Eye Exalted ON the toon you bring) * Properly gemmed, enchanted and with full consumables
Examples of raid ettiquette:
* Not asking for "summons whenever ready" SOMEONE has to head there. Be kind enough and volunteer one time =D. * Releasing when dead and running back to save time. * Showing up on time and being ready. * Being polite to others
These raids will be fun and adventurous. The day and time will be picked to accommodate those who respond. I will encourage an atmosphere of fun jokes, teasing each other, and light hearted raids with a goal of progression. After the raid, we will look at stats and do a self assessment in the hopes that people will try and improve. This assessment will be frank.
Send me an email (wsalloum at gmail.com) if you want to be on board and days/times you can reliably make.
